The Zip Code Directory is part of the United State Post Office home page.  Near the very top of the home page is a link to Zip Codes. There are multiple search options offered, including known address search and the ability to search for a specific city.

This two volume set identifies consumer-oriented trade names and the supporting companies. With over 40,000 manufacturers representing over 250,000 products, this set represents an annual look at consumerism. For each trade name listed, there is a short product description and company name.

Provides information on the finances, government, and giving interests of the nation’s largest grantmaking foundations--those with assets of $1 million.  Entries are arranged alphabetically by state and, within states, by the foundation name.  Five indexes to the descriptive entries and two appendixes are included to assist users of this volume.  Entries include the following:  the foundation’s name and address, financial data for the latest year of record available, a description of funding interests, a list of officers and trustees, its IRS Employer Identification Number, and if applicable, the types of grants and other forms of support awarded, restrictions on the giving program by geographic or subject area, publications available from the foundation, application procedures and deadlines, and the number of staff employed by the foundation.

ArchivesUSA is a current directory of over 5,000 repositories and nearly 120,000 collections of primary source material across the United States. Repository records provide detailed information including phone and fax numbers, hours of service, materials solicited, email and home page URLs when available. Each collection record links to its corresponding repository record, simplifying the research process. ArchivesUSA integrates the following information into comprehensive collection records: The entire collection of NUCMC from 1959 to the present. The National Union Catalog of Manuscript Collections (NUCMC) includes information gathered and indexed by the Library of Congress, covering more than 80,000 collections. Only ArchivesUSA makes all of NUCMC fully searchable in electronic form. The Scout Report provides a weekly update on subject-specific Web resources.  It covers areas from world affairs to science to engineering. The K.I.D.S. page will be of particular importance to school and public libraries. This site, located in the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is well maintained and funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
